How to Check Your Map Type / Version:

Press the Nav button on the iDrive, then select Options and press Navigation System Version, where you will see something like: “Road Map Europe ROUTE 2015-2”.

Please select the 'update' option from the drop-down menu at the top of this page.

Installation:
- Insert the USB and follow on-screen prompts (FSC code required).
- Keep the engine running or drive during the update (typically 60–120 minutes).
- Do not remove the USB or switch off ignition until completion.
