How to Check Your Map Type / Version:
- Push the Nav button, then the Option button on your controller. Scroll down to the last item in the menu called Navigation System Version. You will see something like: "Road Map Europe NEXT 2015-1"
- This is for all BMW models with factory fitted NBT NEXT HDD based unit
Please select the 'update' option from the drop-down menu at the top of this page.

Installation:
- Insert the USB and follow on-screen prompts (FSC code required).
- Keep the engine running or drive during the update (typically 60–120 minutes).
- Do not remove the USB or switch off ignition until completion.
