How to Check Your Map Type / Version:
- Press NAV on iDrive → Options → Navigation System Version.
- Example string: Road Map Europe EVO 2017-2 (EVO = NBT EVO map type).
Installation:
- Insert the USB and follow on-screen prompts.
- Keep the engine running or drive during the update (typically ~60–90 minutes).
- Do not remove the USB or switch off ignition until completion.
